The beta version of the game having started on 04/12/2019, Smash Karts is a Multiplayer Kart Battle Arena game developed by Tall Team, a developing studio based in Dublin, Ireland. The official release of Smash Karts happened somewhere along early 2020.

The initial purpose of the game is to smash karts, collect Coins and buy cosmetics. With the 3.0.0 update, Seasons changed the way the game functions completely; it introduced Gems, a new currency, along with the Season Track. Completing challenges allows you to complete the Season Track, in which you unlock currency and cosmetics. Owning the Smash Pass gives you access to lots more cosmetics within the track.
