Coins were the first currency introduced into Smash Karts, in 2020. Originally, Coins could only be obtained by smashing other players. Each smash gets you 10 coins, and each bot you smash gets you 2 coins. Coins can be used to purchase items in the Customisation tab.

How to obtain coins:

Levelling up. Odd numbers will give you more Coins than even numbers will (even numbers will also award Character Tokens), whereas even numbers will give you both Character Tokens and Coins. 

Smashing karts or collecting Gems or Candies. Each kart you smash gets you 10 coins and each bot you smash gets you 2 coins. In Gem Collector, you receive 5 coins per Gem that you collect, and in Candy Rush, you receive 2.

Spinning the Common/Daily spin. When spinning the Common/Daily spin, you have a chance of receiving one of the following Coin rewards:

300 Coins

500 Coins

1.000 Coins

Buying with Gems. In the Shop, you are able to purchase Coins with Gems for the following prices:

5.000 Coins - 85 Gems

20.000 Coins - 300 Gems

67.500 Coins - 900 Gems

150.000 Coins - 1.900 Gems 

Season Track. In the Season Track, the following Coin rewards will be available:
