Season 1 was introduced to players as a private beta in the Tall Team Discord server on 13/04/2023. Members could sign up via Google Forms to have a chance at getting to play in the beta.  

On 02/05/2023, the beta was released and everyone who had signed up via Google Forms had access to it.

A few hours after the release, a new version was pushed out which fixed issues regarding Double Smash and Capture The Flag Challenges.

On 09/05/2023, the 2.0.0 Seasons & Challenges update was officially released and accessible to everyone.

Season (track)

A new form of updates was released: Seasons. Each Season would bring a Season Track with them, having a “Premium” and a “Free” track. Both of them have a total of 31 rewards. You progress through the tiers by collecting Season Points - which you do by completing Challenges.

A Season usually lasts 50 days, sometimes 58-60.

Smash Pass

The Smash Pass is available during each Season for the price of 600 Gems. Not only does it give access to the Premium Track, you also get the following extra perks:

The “Seasoned Purple” username skin, available for the season duration

An extra free Lucky Spin every day

Max out your XP Booster (always at 3x)

10 bonus Season Points with every completed Challenge

Challenges

Challenges are small tasks that a player gets, that they need to complete in order to collect Season Points - which are used to progress through tiers in the Season Track.

There are two types of Challenges: Daily Challenges and Season Challenges

New currency: Gems

A new currency was introduced: Gems. Gems can be obtained in the following ways:

Buying with $ in the Shop

Spinning the Daily Spins/Common Spins

Spinning the Gems Spin (released in Season 2)

The Season Track

Gems would essentially replace most items that you could purchase with $ before. Instead of paying $ to get some extra Coins or Character Tokens, you could now purchase these with Gems.

Spins

A new way of getting Character Tokens, Gems and Coins was released: Spins. There are multiple types of Spins:

Common Spin/Daily Spin

Uncommon Spin

Rare Spin

Epic Spin

Gems Spin (released in Season 2)
