New Features

Leaderboards beta

Leaderboards were released (as a Public beta). Every single Smash you get in a public game will count towards your total. The Leaderboards reset with each new season. Every single map has its own leaderboard, with there also being one, big leaderboard for All Maps.

Discord login

You can now link your Discord account with your Smash Karts account. This was a highly requested feature, since players that discovered the game via the Smash Karts Discord activity didn’t have any way of continuing their progress on the other platforms.

QoL changes

Pressing [ESC] on your keyboard will now trigger the Settings to popup.

Instead of being able to press any key to join a new round, you are now only able to press [Space] to join a game.

Instead of being able to press any key to respawn into the game while Spectating a player, there is now a “Respawn” button. This is now the only way to respawn into the game while spectating.

Change email

When having an account signed up with Email, you are now able to change the email address associated with the account.

When having created your account via different login methods, you are now able to add an email address and password to the account.

Daily Drivers! spin

A new spin was released, the Daily Drivers spin. By watching an ad, you will be able to use the Character Token machine and get 1 character. You will then own that Character for a limited period of time (24 hours). You are able to watch an ad once every 2 hours. When you get a duplicate Character, you will receive 200 coins.
